Poly-crystalline PV module

It is made by the pouring molten silicon in a cast and because of the construction method of this panel system, crystal structure will not form perfect and making boundaries where the formation of crystal breaks. It provides smooth appearance, distinctive and gemstone pattern which highlight boundaries in the crystal format. Due to the impurities in crystal, the poly-crystalline silicon is termed as less efficient while comparing with mono-crystalline. Thin-film solar panels

Thin-film panels are characterized by very fine layers that are thin enough to be flexible. Each panel does not require a frame backing, making them lighter and easier to install. Unlike crystalline silicon panels that come in standardized sizes of 60, 72, and 96-cell counts, thin-film panels can come in different sizes to suit specific needs. However, they are less efficient than typical silicon solar panels.The efficiency of the Thin-Film system varies depending on the type of PV material used in the cells but in general they tend to have efficiencies around 7% and up to 18%.

Thin film solar panels can usually be made from different materials. There are three common types:

1.Amorphous Silicon (a-si) films: These films are made of amorphous silicon and are easier to produce than single crystal or polycrystalline solar panels.

2.Cadmium Telluride film: This type of solar panel is made of a special compound called cadmium telluride, which has strong light absorption

3.Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS) solar panels are made by stacking layers of copper, gallium and selenide on top of each other to form a powerful semiconductor.

Perovskite

The so-called "perovskite" in the field of photovoltaic refers to a class of "ABX3" compounds similar to the crystal structure of perovskite (CaTiO3), which is a general term for materials with a specific structure. Perovskite-type oxides are widely used in solid oxide fuel cells, metal-air cells, solar cell catalysts and magnetic cooling materials due to their diverse physical properties.确定
